Collin Smith, Nursing Home Administrator
I am excited to be a part of this amazing community here at Ingleside. I am originally from the Nashville Tennessee area. In 2015, I graduated from Lipscomb University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Interestingly enough, I actually got into long-term care because of my friend. He was an Administrator in Training and suggested I give it a try. It didn't take me long to fall in love with it and to see how special being in this line of work truly is. My favorite part of this job is the relationships I get to make with the residents and their families, and being able to make a difference in their lives. I have spent the last four years post-graduation working in long-term care administration in areas such as Murfreesboro TN, Knoxville TN and Anniston AL. I have previous experience as a CNA, an Assistant Administrator of a long-term care facility and an Administrator of an assisted living facility. I was born and raised in the south, but very eager to be here in Wisconsin and call it my new home. I ask that everyone think of me as I adjust to the cold winters here. Those who have met me, know I am an avid sports fan. You may see me wearing orange and white around the facility, as I am a big fan of the University of Tennessee Volunteers. I'll cheer on the Badgers unless of course, they are playing the Vols! I am looking forward to getting to know all the patients, residents, families and staff here at Ingleside and being a part of this great place. My door is open, so please stop by any time.
